ASUS TUF Dash 15 Gaming Laptop. Save 428 Dollars From This Online Deal.

Compared with the sleeker ROG notebooks, older TUF notebooks tend to look garish. Certainly, you pay for what you get, but apart from the tangible costs of components and materials, there is no excuse for poor design. It is possible for even entry-level products to look stylish and elegant.

Unlike last year’s TUF A15 gaming notebook, ASUS has opted to completely revamp the TUF Dash F15 (we’ll just call it the TUF F15 from here on out).

TUF F15 has a slimmer and more confident appearance than its predecessors. This notebook reminds me a great deal of the older ROG Zephyrus series of notebooks. Gunmetal gray is the color of the lid, and it has a nice and polished appearance, while black is the color of the inside.

The TUF F15’s keyboard is a dead giveaway that it is a gaming notebook. While the WASD keys on the previous TUF A15 were backlit in an odd orange-red colour, those on the TUF F15 are a more neutral greenish-white hue that I found to be more subtle. In fact, the effect is more subtle than it appears, and can be turned off or adjusted in terms of brightness. In fact, it is rather cool to see the light shine through the transparent WASD keys and provide a practical guide for you to locate those all-important keys if you like to play games in dimly lit environments.

The keys themselves provide good feedback, and I quickly became accustomed to typing on the TUF F15 due to its well-spaced keys. There are exhaust vents on the back and sides of the TUF F15 to facilitate cooling. The I/O ports have been relocated due to the vents taking up a significant amount of space on both the left and right sides. An Ethernet port, a USB type-A port, a USB type-C port, a HDMI port, and a microphone combo jack complete the standard ports.

How does the display look? I received an ASUS TUF F15 review unit equipped with a FHD (aka 1080p) IPS-panel and 144Hz refresh rate, as well as Adaptive Sync. A 144Hz refresh rate is sufficiently fast for even most professional esports players, even if it isn’t as fast as displays with a faster 240Hz or 300Hz refresh rate. It is worthwhile to note that the display offers good colour and contrast performance with 100% sRGB coverage, which is an uncommon feature for notebooks in this price range.

Asus has also reduced the side and top bezels of the screen, but this has come at the expense of an integrated webcam. Nowadays, most of us have adapted to a work-from-home environment,

There is an external (and a very good one) webcam bundled with the ROG notebook line for 2021, most of which also do not have a built-in webcam. However, this is not the case for the TUF F15. It is up to you to purchase one separately. If you frequently participate in video chats on your notebook, the missing webcam is a troublesome sore point that must be addressed externally.

Alienware M15 R5 Gaming Laptop | In-Depth Review On How It Powers Your Gaming

Alienware M15 R5 Gaming Laptop.  In-Depth Review On How It Powers Your Gaming.

Alienware M15 R5 Gaming Laptop
Alienware M15 R5 Gaming Laptop

Alienware has always been regarded as a particularly prestigious brand of gaming laptops. Even though the brand has consistently boasted top-of-the-line specifications and a high-end design, its pricing is in the stratosphere. Therefore, the old m15 has been in need of a design refresh for quite some time now, and it has finally received one.

The new Legend industrial design language was introduced to the m15 at CES 2019. As Alienware’s sleekest gaming laptop to date, the m15 R2 is a great example of how a laptop can look contemporary and futuristic at the same time. An overview of the specifications of this laptop is given below: Intel Core i7-9750H (2.60GHz, 12MB L3 cache), 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080-pixel 144Hz display with Tobii Eye Tracking, 16GB DDR4-2666 dual-channel RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD, 360.5 x 276 x 20.5mm, 76Wh battery, 2.16

The laptop costs S$4,498 – considerably more than other gaming laptops with similar specifications. It should be noted that we are talking about Alienware here, so you are really paying for the name and the reputation. Here is a closer look at what this laptop has to offer.

However, the old M15 has been in need of a design refresh for quite some time now, and it has now been given one. In May, Alienware introduced its new Legend industrial design language for the m15 at CES 2019. Despite its sleek design, the Alienware m15 R2 manages to look both contemporary and futuristic at the same time.

Alienware’s M15 R7 is an impressive machine. In spite of the fact that you are sacrificing a more luxurious form factor and gaining a set of fans similar to a stadium, Alienware’s latest mid-range notebook posts impressive numbers, and the display appears to be in great condition. There is one thing you need to keep in mind, though: this is not a machine you will want to carry around in your backpack any time soon.

With its plastic body and heavier profile, the Alienware M15 R7 retains the same design language as the previous generation. Due to Dell’s emphasis on component value, you do lose some of the more durable build qualities of the X-range. The Alienware x14, for example, offers a luxury aluminium and magnesium chassis but drops your power level significantly. In other words, the R7 does not feel quite as solid as these more premium devices, but if you are not planning to take it anywhere with you, you will appreciate the solid weight.

Having to sacrifice a few build pegs to bring the best Alienware laptops to a reasonable price does not worry me; this is a luxury brand and I am willing to make that sacrifice. Although they are relatively inexpensive for Alienware, these are certainly not budget-friendly systems. Although the Asus TUF Dash F15 rarely costs as much as the M15 R7, and features a more metal chassis, the plastic design does feel a bit cheap when compared with other products of its kind. There is a significant amount of screen wobble and flexing to be found here, although the hinge itself appears to be durable.

Among the current range of Alienware computers, the M15 R7 represents the best value for money if you are familiar with the brand’s expert engineering and unique aesthetics. In addition, we recommend anyone interested in the latest 12th generation Intel processors and Nvidia’s latest GPUs check out the seriously impressive performance on offer here – this R7 is capable of drawing the most out of these components. It is still not for everyone since the M15 R7 comes in at over $2,000 / £2,000 in our configuration.

Skytech Shadow Gaming PC Review | In-Depth Understanding Of Its Features

Skytech Shadow Gaming PC Review. In-Depth Understanding Of Its Features

Skytech Shadow Gaming PC Review
Skytech Shadow Gaming PC Review

It is reasonable to say that this SkyTech gaming rig is one of the best middle-of-the-road gaming rigs available on the market right now. With 8GB RAM, a Ryzen 3 1200 CPU and a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, you can run most modern games on medium or high settings with ease.

Pros
Powered by a powerful quad-core AMD Ryzen 3 processor, this entry-level gaming desktop can run modern games at medium to high graphics settings.

Cons
It would be great if the power supply was better, and 8GB of RAM would be a bare minimum requirement
Performance

When you remove the top panel from the SkyTech Shadow Gaming Computer, you will find a combination of two medium-high components: a quad core CPU, the Ryzen 1200, and a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB with a 1TB hard drive. Having said that, any gaming rig of this kind will certainly be able to run Apex Legends, PUBG, Fortnite, and Doom (2016) on high settings just fine. Doom (2016), for example, runs in the 90s on average; for example, most FPS games run in the low to mid 60s.

While the first Shadow model is good, the GTX 1060 3GB model is slightly better. Either way, you’re getting CPUs that are faster and more robust than, say, an AMD FX 8350, but a few steps behind CPUs like the Intel Core i5-9400F. We would’ve liked more than 8GB of RAM, but it’s a small cost for another stick of 8GB.

Design
In comparison with, say, the iBUYPOWER Pro Gaming PC, this NVIDIA GTX Ti gaming PC moves away from the simple design of the iBUYPOWER Pro Gaming PC in favor of an almost futuristic design. It would not be difficult for you to imagine the warp drive of an alien ship looking like the SkyTech Shadow Gaming Desktop from SkyTech. Believe it or not, you will find a CD-drive hidden behind the front panel, as well as a variety of USB ports-a variety of 2.0 and 3.0-along with Wi-Fi capabilities. A CD-drive was not included in the SkyTech Blaze 2 Gaming PC, which is a pity.

Value
There are two ways in which pre-built gaming PCs may go: either they will be hot garbage or they will serve as a good jumping off point for a gaming computer desktop PC. We are proud to state that the SkyTech Shadow GTX 1050 Ti Gaming Desktop fits the category of a “perfect starting point.” Is it fitted with the best graphics card, RAM, or processor that you can find? Although it does not offer the same level of performance as a gaming machine, it is nevertheless ideal as someone’s first gaming computer, especially since it comes with a one-year warranty and a keyboard and mouse combo in the box.

Wrap Up
The SkyTech Shadow Gaming Computer, most importantly, performs everything you need it to do: play modern PC games with medium to high settings; the Ryzen 3 and GTX 1050 Ti processors provide the performance needed to play modern PC games. As it is so affordable, you can seriously consider upgrading the system with extra RAM and a better power supply if you choose to do so.
