Obtainable from a glacial estuary in the Pacific Northwest, Glacial Marine Mud absorbs impurities from the skin without depriving it of its moisture. In order to increase its absorption capabilities and to ensure an ideal consistency, this skin-beneficial mud is homogenized.
It should be applied generously to the skin, avoiding the mouth and eyes. The mud should be allowed to dry for 15 to 20 minutes or until it turns a light aquamarine color. Warm water should be used to rinse the product thoroughly. Two to three times a week is recommended.

Mud is covered by tides of eight to ten feet each day. The mud is mined when the tide goes out. In order to ensure consistency, the upper layer of mud is removed, and the mud is harvested from a depth of three to four feet. The top layer of mud is replaced after all holes are filled with rocks.
