This phone has just 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage to support its underpowered processor. The average person hangs onto their phone for a long time, so 32GB isn’t enough. Despite only using the G Pure for two weeks – installing updates and a few apps, plus taking some photos – I’ve already used 18.04GB (56 percent). You’ll likely run out of space before you run out of software support with Motorola’s promise of one OS update and two years of security updates. There’s a microSD card slot, so you can expand its limited storage up to 512GB.
Moto phones aren’t perfect, though. This phone’s processor is just a second slower than most, it only works on 4G networks, and it has 32GB of internal storage. The Moto G Pure gets a lot right for its price, though.
