Sharpening a knife with the Generation 3 Pro model is faster and easier than our other consumer models, thanks to the one-step angle adjustment, ranging from 14 to 27 degrees.
Cam-Lock Vise Jaws are free-floating, allowing one-handed clamping of knives including fully flat ground blades, and they come with a tension adjuster so you can choose the right tension for varying knife thicknesses. Generation 3 Pro accepts blades up to 3/16″ thick, but jaws for 1/4″ thick blades are available. You can sharpen your knife symmetrically on both sides with a self-centering vise jaw.
The Generation 3 Pro Sharpener has a sturdy base that holds six of your most useful abrasive handles, making it great for stationary use at home or at work. With the sharpener, you get a waterproof, shock-resistant Nanuk 940 hard case with custom foam inserts for storage and transport, along with a bunch of accessories.
